“If I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.”
    ~ 1 Corinthians 13:2 (NIV)

Faith is greater than love
If I have love enough to endure all things
And believe all things
Including what you said in a rash moment
That you wanted me to let you go
So you’re cast adrift knowing
Neither what to say nor where
To come home
Nor to whom
You can give thanks
Some night knowing
Love may indeed have been
And does it ever fail ever cease ever pass away
To make matters worse
Love without faith is less than nothing
The destructive force that believes all things
Are cold yet always perseveres knowing
Just that the mountains remain
Between us
